The intended audience for this course is any clinical team member volunteering or working at an Odyssey event, venue or deployment.

It is also the entry point for all of our Medical Direction clients to provide context for the clinical policies supported by the Program.

Our National Medical Direction team is led by Dr. Adam Lund, a practicing Emergency Physician and EMS Support Physician (BCEHS). The Medical Direction program is supported by a per province panel of health care professionals with expertise in out-of-hospital care.

Is this a 'required' course for the Medical Direction Program?
Yes, this is the 'core course' that defines the terms of the medical direction program. All of the other policies are dependent on the terms within this course.
How long do I have access to the course?
As long as you are an active member within Odyssey Medical, and/or an organization that is contracting Odyssey Medical to provide Medical Direction coverage, you will have access to this material.
Does this course 'expire'?
Not really. At the completion of this course, you will have a certificate indicating the date of completion. In the event that there is a MAJOR CHANGE in course content, you may be notified and need to 're-do the quiz' to generate a new certificate to show compliance with updating standards.
